At the end of 2022, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced a new structure for its club competitions for the 2024-2025 seasons with three leagues: AFC Champions League Elite, AFC Champions League Two and AFC Women’s Champions League.
Tecno, known for its smartphones, laptops and other electronics, was just announced as an Official Global Supporter for the three leagues. This will help it spread awareness of its brand across the continent as it expands to new markets.
The AFC club competitions draw in massive global television viewership numbers – close to 1 billion viewers! – and this partnership will help the tech brand connect with fans around the world. Tecno believes that sports and technology together can inspire people to chase their dreams.
Previously, Tecno sponsored the 34th Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and committed to renovating 100 football fields across the continent over the next five years. With the AFC partnership,t hopes to bring the competition’s spirit of “Stop at Nothing” to old and new fans.
