TikTok and Instagram personality Jehane Thomas has tragically passed away at the young age of 30.
Her sudden passing was confirmed via a GoFundMe set up by a friend to help her two young sons, Isaac, 3, Elijah, 1.

Jehane had been documenting her past few months to her 71,000 followers on TikTok after being diagnosed with Optic Neuritis and suffering from migraines. The Mayo Clinic says that Optic Neuritis is when “when swelling (inflammation) damages the optic nerve – a bundle of nerve fibers that transmits visual information from your eye to your brain.”
Her last TikTok was posted 5 days ago about her waiting to have surgery.
On March 11, Jehane posted, “If you’ve been following my story on IG and TIKTOK, you’ll know how tough my week has been – not just physically but mentally too. 6 days being admitted to hospital and we are finally on the home run to getting these migraines sorted. I’m currently waiting for a blood patch to help stop this pressure in my head and I was surprised with a visit from my boys to give me the energy boost I needed to get through another day. Once it’s done, I’ll have another 24 hours here on bed rest then it’s hopefully time to go home and recover.”
