Quinta Brunson has come a long way from crafting skits on YouTube. Now, the social media sensation is making us laugh from our TV screens as elementary school teacher Janine on her very own series, Abbott Elementary. Between shooting episodes for the TV show, she has been getting glammed up for various award shows and events — and looking absolutely stunning, may we add. Her latest appearance was on November 5 at the annual LACMA Art + Film Gala, where she looked like a real-life princess with a slicked-back blunt ponytail.
The Emmy Award winner arrived at the gala in a strapless, floor-length baby blue gown with a black belt tied around her waist and mesh gloves that covered her forearms. Hairstylist Alexander Armand parted her dark brown hair on the side and slicked it into a high ponytail at the crown of her head. He wrapped a section of her hair around the base of the ponytail to conceal whatever hair tie was holding it in place. The ends of her super blunt, straight ponytail grazed her shoulders.
He used a section of her hair in the front to create a faux bang that curled up and around her ear. Her makeup was surely made for a princess and complimented her hair and dress well. Makeup artist Renée Loiz painted on light pink shimmery eye shadow with a sharp cat eye. She coated her lips in a nude gloss for a light sheen.
