The X90 series from vivo is set to debut on November 22 and we’ve got more details for the vanilla model thanks to a new Geekbench listing. The vivo X90 (V2241A) is equipped with the recently announced MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset and also packs 12GB RAM.
The X90 managed an impressive 1,353-point single-core score and 4,055 points in the multi-core department. These scores fall slightly short of the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 devices we’ve seen on Geekbench, including the vivo X90 Pro+ which put up 1,485 and 4,739 points respectively. We should keep in mind that all of these devices are not final retail units so actual scores will likely differ.
The new Geekbench listing also confirms the X90 runs Android 13 presumably with OriginOS 3 for Chinese units and Funtouch OS for global models. We’re also expecting the vivo V2 ISP chip as well as a 1” sensor for the main camera.
In related news, vivo has already sent out review units to reviewers and media in China. A video posted on Weibo details the design of the new phone as well as some early impressions of the camera.
