The Princess of Wales has landed in America, and she’s bringing all the blowout inspiration with her. Kate Middleton and Prince William are visiting Boston for a three-day engagement, ending with the Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony, and the Princess definitely packed her Dyson Airwrap.
The Prince and Princess’s first stop was Boston’s City Hall on November 30, where Middleton appeared in a seasonal dark green coat and plaid dress with her hair in extremely shiny waves. (Prince William thanked the “hardy Bostonians” for braving the rain to come see them; someone should also thank the Princess’ styling-product cocktail for standing strong against that weather.) Parted to one side and worn in loose waves, Middleton’s style was a bit of a departure from the big blowout curls she’s worn in the past, and the perfect fusion of bounce and polish. It can go anywhere and do anything, from formal engagements to an evening out.
But that wasn’t the only blowout Middleton showed off on day one of her first U.S. trip since 2014. She and the Prince of Wales also attended a Boston Celtics game, where they sat courtside in slightly more casual looks. Middleton wore a bright blue jacket, dark jeans and pumps, while the Prince wore a navy suit over a light blue shirt open at the collar. However, it’s not the outfits we’re looking at — it’s Middleton’s shiny, spring waves. The look is classic Catherine: parted to one side and styled in the most perfect curls with nary a hair out of place.
