Musician Maren Morris always makes an impact when she hits the stage, but she really made jaws drop at a recent show when she debuted a very, very fresh new haircut — one her hairstylist had chopped just an hour before the concert began.
Morris shared a few pics of her new look on Instagram, where she shared that the collarbone-grazing layered bob was a brand-new addition to her look. “When your hair fairy Marwa Bashir chops your mane an hour to show,” she wrote in her caption. Morris had previously been sporting super long waves that cascaded down her back, but it was apparently time for a big change for the musician.
It looks like Bashir cut more than a foot of length from the star’s brunette waves, and the end result is a darker brown bob with lots of undone, choppy texture. Morris paired the bob with glowing, highlighted skin and peachy cheeks, a shimmery bronze eye, lots of lashes and a glossy rose lip, and posed in a glimmering green sequined gown to really make a statement with the fresh chop.
Sure, it’s a bold move to cut off all your hair just an hour before you’re set to hit the stage, but in this case, it definitely paid off — not to mention made me want to grab the scissors and make a chop of my own!
