James Gunn has his eyes on one superhero amid continued questions about the future of the DC film franchise.
If you missed it, a report emerged that the third Wonder Woman movie was essentially dead and no longer in development earlier this month. The news came shortly after James and Peter Safran were selected to take over the DC Universe.
James reacted to another report about the franchise shortly thereafter. More recently, he rushed to assuage fans’ concerns about the future of Superman.

If you forgot, a report in October suggested that Man of Steel 2, a new Superman solo movie, was in the works. Star Henry Cavill was expected to reprise the role. The news came after he made a cameo in the Black Adam end credits scene.
James took to Twitter to assure a concerned fan that Superman wasn’t going anywhere.
“Yes of course,” he tweeted in response to a request for a new movie about the iconic character. “Superman is a huge priority, if not the biggest priority.”
Another star from the first movie revealed if they’d be interested in returning to the franchise.
