vivo unveiled the X90 series in China last month, but there’s no word from the company about its global launch yet. However, a poster that surfaced on Twitter reveals the X90 series will make its international debut on January 31, 2023.
The vivo X90 series consists of three smartphones – X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+. The leaked poster doesn’t explicitly mention any of these, but since it says “X90 Series,” it is safe to say that at least two phones will begin their global journey on the mentioned date if not all three.
The vivo X90 Pro+ is the most exciting smartphone in the lineup, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and sporting a 50MP primary camera that uses a 1” IMX989 sensor. The main camera is joined by 48MP ultrawide, 50MP telephoto, and 64MP periscope units. For selfies and video calls, you get a 32MP camera.
The X90 Pro+ is built around a 6.78″ 120Hz 1,440p curved LTPO4 AMOLED display with a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication. It runs Android 13-based OriginOS Ocean and comes with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The smartphone is fueled by a 4,700 mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
