While there are many fashionable pockets in the U.S., New York and L.A. definitely make the best dressed list. It’s pretty much a given considering New York is essentially a fashion designer’s mecca and L.A., of course, is home to the glitz and glam of Hollywood. I’ve lived in both places (currently I reside on the West Coast), and not to toot my own horn, but I think my geographical preferences have given me a keen sense of what trends are on the up and up.
While New York will always feel more sophisticated and trend-forward compared to L.A.’s classic, laid-back style, there’s definitely more overlap now than ever before.
