Margot Robbie finds inspiration for her movie roles from animals!
The 32-year-old actress appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week, where she opened up about how she channeled certain animals for her roles in I, Tonya, as well as her most recent film, Babylon.

Margot explained to Kelly that she has a movement coach she works with for her acting parts, which is where she picked up the animal inspiration.
“I didn’t go to drama school so I don’t know if this is something everyone does in drama school,” she explained. “But it’s something I discovered after, it’s something I actually started doing when I was on I, Tonya.”
She went on, saying that move was “the first time…I was a pitbull. With her ice skates on, I wanted her heavy in the feet. I wanted the character to feel like the world was bearing down on her all the time. But then on the ice she’s a mustang, a wild horse.”
As far as her character in Babylon goes, Margot described her as an “octopus and a honey badger.”
“They’re insane! The snake fight scene, that’s all honey badger,” Margot said. “There are videos of honey badgers fighting snakes. There’s videos of honey badgers, which aren’t huge animals, fighting lions. And they have really thick skin, and they’re insane.”
She continued, “She’s got very thick skin and fights anything and anyone at the drop of a hat.”
Just recently, Margot and co-star Brad Pitt opened up about that wild opening scene for Babylon.
