Oppo’s Reno8 T has been leaking a lot in the past few weeks, and yesterday we finally found out when its announcement is going to be held: on February 8, at least for the Philippines.
Now, also from the Philippines, we have the price of the upcoming device to talk about, as it’s been revealed by a Facebook ad for a brick-and-mortar physical store in Quezon City.
According to the listing, which shows multiple Reno8 T boxes ready to be sold to customers, the phone will be priced at PHP 18,999, which currently equates to $348 and €320, respectively.
Due to the lack of visible 5G branding on the box, we assume this is the 4G-only model. For that amount of money you apparently get 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, although an iteration with 128GB is in the works too, it would seem. The listing also speaks about the handset having a 6.43-inch AMOLED touchscreen, a 40x zoom “Microlens” camera, and a 100 MP “Portrait Camera”, whatever that is supposed to mean.
The battery should be 5,000 mAh, with support for 33W fast wired charging. Two colors will be available: black and orange, the latter with a faux leather look. The Reno8 T allegedly runs ColorOS 13, on top of Android 13. Over in the Philippines, if you pre-order one of these, you’ll reportedly get a free pair of Oppo’s Enco Buds2 TWS earphones.
According to past leaks, rumors, and speculation, the 4G-only Reno8 T will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 SoC, while the 5G model will get Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695.
