Just after the latest episode of the time-traveling drama, which had many fans’ heartrates up and also screaming at their television screens, questions were asked about a second season.
However, Hallmark hasn’t renewed the show just yet, or if they did, haven’t announced it just yet.
So far, The Way Home has taken its time to build up the storylines of its characters, including Kat’s relationship with her ex Brady, Del’s grieving process over the loss of her son and husband, and Alice’s adventures in 1999.
While it remains to be seen whether the show will be able to wrap up all its storylines by the end of the first season, early episodes of the series were watched by a lot of viewers.
This suggests that there will most likely be a season two (with a lot of unanswered questions still), but we’re all still waiting on that official announcement.
The season finale of The Way Home is set to air on Sunday, March 26 at a special time of 8 p.m. ET, followed by the premiere of Hallmark’s new rodeo family drama Ride at 9 p.m. ET.
