Florence Pugh Made Wedges Look So Chic

Actress Florence Pugh made us do a double-take when was spotted in NYC last week. Clad in a matching Valentino coat and bag, Pugh surprised us with her ’00s-era wedge boots that were paired perfectly with wide-leg cuffed trousers giving off a throwback vibe in the best way.

Unlike Pugh’s favorite Valentino platforms, these shoes are actually quite practical for walking around the city — it’s no wonder that wedges were the it-shoe for the fashion set for so many years — they’re the perfect day-to-night shoe. Plus, they pair perfectly with the wider-leg jeans and pants that are very on-trend again, taking any look from casual to coordinated.
