A sneaker comes along every few years that takes over the conversation, dominating the zeitgeist and showing up first, on everyone’s wishlist, and later, on, well, everyone. In 2023, that sneaker is the Samba by Adidas, an indoor-soccer sneaker that was recently embraced by the fashion community, so much so that its classic color-ways—white and black and all black—are more often than not completely sold out.
