Doja Cat has been living the buzz-cut life for almost a year now, and while some may think having barely-there hair would put limitations on one’s beauty choices, she’s proven the exact opposite. She has used the lack of hair to focus attention on dramatic makeup looks, and when she misses wearing a full-blown ‘do, she can easily pop on a wig. Bleaching the super-short hair platinum blonde has definitely made for a fun style, but the latest way she’s wearing her buzz cut is easily the most fun.
Doja posted a couple of photos to her Instagram grid late on Thursday night showing that her usually blonde buzz cut is now hot pink. The orchid-like hue is practically glowing in the first selfie she shared, in which she’s posing in rosy-tinted sunglasses in the car.
It’s not until the second photo she posted that you can see that, while the pink hair is definitely eye-catching, it’s not the bold aspect of the new look. When we get this clear shot of the back of her head, we can see that a huge, black spider is covering most of it — painted on by hair artist Jackie Bieber.
