The microphone that made headlines has been sold for almost $100,000!
Just a few weeks ago, Cardi B threw a microphone at a fan who had splashed water on her during a concert in Las Vegas.
The incident occurred just as other fans have been throwing and tossing things at artists at their shows – from phones, to ashes, to even a bra.
The fan who threw the water at Cardi did file a police report about what occurred, however, the singer was not charged.
Following all the events of the microphone, it’s now been revealed that it was auctioned off!

According to a report, the microphone that caused the headlines was recovered by the company who owns it and was placed up for auction on eBay.
The starting bid on the popular selling site was just $500, but ended up bringing in $99,990.
The company who sold it wrote that the money raised would be going to two charities.
“100 percent of the profit from the sale of this mic will be evenly split among [two] charities. The first charity is a local Las Vegas charity called Friendship Circle Las Vegas. The friendship circle is an organization that has teen and young adult volunteers helping children, teens and other young adults with special needs,” the description read. “The [second] charity is Wounded Warrior Project. Wounded Warrior Project helps to bring independence back to our most severely wounded veterans. While I did not serve, my father served in the USAF and my son-in-law served in the USMC.”
