Honor X40 series was officially launched last month, and now we have reports of a third phone joining the family – Honor X40 GT. The name popped over the weekend on Chinese social media, with multiple tipsters reporting the phone will come with Snapdragon 888.
The chipset was the most popular among early 2021 flagships and brings a mighty 2.84 GHz Cortex-X1 CPU core, three Cortex-A78 cores at 2.42GHz, and the four efficient Cortex-A55 units at 1.8GHz.
The Honor X40 GT is said to be the performance smartphone in the midrange X series and will be announced this month. However, the phone’s arrival might be overshadowed by two other alleged launches – the Honor 80 series and the foldable Magic V2.
