The Huawei nova 10 series was introduced at IFA 2022 in Berlin last month. We saw a vanilla and a Pro variant, and now the company adds a third member – meet the Huawei nova 10 SE.
The device keeps the Star Orbit Ring design with two large circles for the camera setup and in a reasonable 184g body that’s just 7.39mm thick.
The nova 10 SE runs on Snapdragon 680G which is an LTE-only chip with an octa-core CPU – four Kryo 265 Gold cores (Cortex-A73 derivative) running at 2.4 GHz and four Kryo 265 Silver ones (Cortex-A53 derivative) at 1.9 GHz. It also packs an Adreno 610 GPU and comes in three memory versions 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, and 8/256 GB.
The front features a 6.67” OLED with 90Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution, but the fingerprint scanner sits on the side on top of the power key.
The Huawei nova 10 SE comes with a 108MP main camera with an f/1.9 lens that unfortunately has its video recording limited to 1080p. Next to it are an 8MP ultrawide snapper and a 2MP macro cam. At the front is a 16MP f/2.2 selfie camera.
Huawei is launching the phone on the global market, meaning it’s booting EMUI 12 and not HarmonyOS.
The nova 10 SE comes with a 4,500mAh battery that does 66W charging through the USB-C port. It has two SIM slots and NFC, but the latter is exclusive to the variants with 8 GB RAM.
Huawei nova 10 SE comes in Starry Silver, Mint Green and Starry Black colors. Pricing and availability remain unknown at this moment.
