Whenever I think of any particular hairstyle, my brain will conjure up one person who embodies that style best. Now, after seeing Gigi Hadid‘s recent textured look, every time I think of mermaid waves, I will think of her long two-toned ones.
On September 21, Gigi Hadid wore a beige two-piece set and her lengthy waves to Max Mara’s Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024 fashion show. The bright blonde tips of her long waves rippled all the way to her midriff. Honestly, with these beachy waves, she should be somewhere near the ocean, wearing a coconut bra and some flowers in her hair while lounging around on a rock. In fact, she looked like she could be a cast member in the 2006 film Aquamarine.
I’m also obsessed with how these waves look with her two-toned hair. Her grown-out brunette roots reached her temples, where the color started transitioning into the bright blonde shade. Even though these are two contrasting shades, the switch from the brown color to the blonde hue looks seamless.
Her makeup was as minimalist as her outfit. Save for the brown gloss swiped on her lips, her complexion was bronzed and minimal.
