While lots of celebrities went all out for Halloween 2023 — see: Ariana Grande, Cindy Crawford, Heidi Klum, Kerry Washington, Kim Kardashian, Christina Aguilera, Paris Hilton, and oh so many more — some laid low, as is their right. Jennifer Lopez, for example, seems to have stayed home and put on a costume for all of 10 minutes. But that doesn’t mean she was lazy about the beauty elements of the look — especially when it comes to her hair.
In an Instagram ad for her cocktail brand, Delola, J. Lo shared a fun drink recipe while wearing a sweatshirt of her own face — iconic — and a super-sleek ponytail with a perfectly sculpted baby hair off-center on her forehead. And right after she adds two chili peppers to the rim of her glass to resemble devil horns, the multi-hyphenate makes a quick change to match her drink.

As she motions “cheers” at the camera, Lopez’s outfit transforms into a devil costume. Her sweatshirt has been replaced with a skin-tight, high-neck, zip-up, metallic red body suit, and her ponytail has been hidden under the suit’s horned hood. But still visible, in all its glory, is the well-placed baby hair, proving that a single swoopy strand is actually quite a versatile look.
