Paris Hilton is speaking up about being sexually assaulted while attending Provo Canyon School.
The 41-year-old star attended the boarding school in Utah as a teen and had previously spoken about the physical and emotional abuse that she said she suffered as a student. However, she made a startling revelation about her time there in a series of tweets and in a new interview with the New York Times.
Paris alleged that she was forced to undergo mandatory late-night cervical exams as a student.

“At Provo Canyon School, I was woken up in the middle of the night by male staff who ushered me into a private room and performed cervical exams on me in the middle of the night,” she shared in a series of tweets.
“Sleep-deprived & heavily medicated, I didn’t understand what was happening. I was forced to lie on a padded table, spread my legs & submit to cervical exams,” Paris wrote. “I cried while they held me down & said, ‘No!’ They just said, ‘Shut up. Be quiet. Stop struggling or you’ll go to Obs.’”
“I was violated & I am crying as I type this because no one, especially a child, should be sexually abused,” she added. “My childhood was stolen from me & it kills me this is still happening to other innocent children.”
She also revealed why she is speaking up: “It’s important to open up about these painful moments so I can heal & help put an end to this abuse.
She ended her tweets with a request to help her take action against the school.
Since first speaking up about her experiences at Provo Canyon, Paris has testified about it in court. She has also revealed how her mom responds to the topic.
Another celebrity seemingly corroborated Paris‘ claims.

This was a recurring experience not only for me but for other #survivors. I was violated & I am crying as I type this because no one, especially a child, should be sexually abused. My childhood was stolen from me & it kills me this is still happening to other innocent children.
