OnePlus has just announced that it’s holding a launch event on July 16 in Milan, Italy. It will take place at 3PM local time, which is 2PM in London, 9AM in New York, 6AM in LA, and 6:30PM in India. Here’s what the invite text says:
Some say it’s impossible in the 5G era to make a smartphone with the strength, sophistication and enduring quality of metal. We say…Never Settle.
The invite itself is metallic-looking, to go with the theme of the quote.
OnePlus has also shared the following teaser image alongside the invite:
So it’s clear. The Nord 4 is finally getting official on this occasion, and the oft-leaked device has widely been rumored to arrive in international markets as a rebranded OnePlus Ace 3V, which launched in China recently.
Thus, it should come with a 6.74-inch 1240×2772 AMOLED touchscreen with 120 Hz refresh rate and 2,150-nit peak brightness, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC at the helm, 12/16GB of RAM, 256/512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, a 50 MP main rear camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide, a 16 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,500 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. The phone will of course run Android 14 with OxygenOS 14 on top from day one.
Alongside the Nord 4, OnePlus could also announce the OnePlus Watch 2R, which was recently made official in China too as the OnePlus Watch 2 (but it has a different design compared to the international Watch 2, hence why it will be called Watch 2R outside of China). Think of this as a slightly more affordable version of the OnePlus Watch 2.
Finally, the company might also introduce the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 which leaked recently.
