While on the House of Halliwell Shannen opened up about Alyssa replacing Lori Rom on Charmed.
“Lori and Alyssa are very, very, very different people. So, Lori’s performance was different than Alyssa’s. Lori was a lot like Holly and I in the sense of [being] very grounded in drama,” she recalled on the episode, which was released posthumously (via Page Six).
She continued, saying, “The presentation was much more serious, and it was way darker, which was my style. So, I loved the presentation, and I thought everybody was great.”
Alyssa changed things, and she realized it was for the better: “When Alyssa came in, it provided a levity that I think the show ended up needing. She came in and she did a great job. And yeah, just brought a slightly different flavor to the show.”
If you missed it, Alyssa responded to claims she had Shannen fired from Charmed earlier this year.
