Samsung’s Galaxy M55s has been in the works for quite a while now, and last week some renders of it leaked showing the very distinctive design portrayed below.
Now, the M55s has been listed on Samsung’s website in India, in the Support section. This listing confirms both the M55s name and the fact that one version will come with 8GB of RAM. More options could be offered upon launch, of course.
The Galaxy M55s has already been certified for sale in India by BIS, so its launch over there is a given. A prototype of the phone has been spotted in the Geekbench database rocking the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, just like the M55.
In fact, all of the M55s’ leaked specs are identical to those of the M55 and F55, so it’s still unclear what will set the M55s apart from those two, aside from its design. They all share a 6.67-inch 1080×2400 Super AMOLED touchscreen with 120 Hz refresh rate, a 50 MP main camera, alongside 8 MP ultrawide and 2 MP macro shooters. There’s a 50 MP selfie camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging.
