Matthew Broderick revealed if he ever had an offer to appear alongside his wife Sarah Jessica Parker on Sex and the City.
The beloved series debuted in 1998, a year after the Hollywood couple tied the knot. It spawned two blockbuster movies and spinoff series And Just Like That, which is still going strong in 2024.
In a recent interview, Matthew opened up about some offers that he got to appear alongside Sarah in the series. He also explained why it never worked out.

“Whenever there was a part that I could do, I couldn’t do it is really all that happened,” Matthew said while on James Corden‘s Sirius CM show This Life of Mine, via People. “But also sometimes, it was like, ‘Do you want to do two days as the premature ejaculator?’ And I’d be like, ‘You know, I don’t know, it’s just kind of embarrassing.’”
He added that the offers were “very professional” and that he “wish[ed] that I had done it or been in it.”
“It just never work worked out. I love that show and I would have been delighted to be in it, but it just never lined up right,” he concluded.
