Wide receiver Davante Adams is headed to the New York Jets.

The Las Vegas Raiders are trading the 31-year-old athlete to reunite with his former quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. The Raiders will potentially get a third round pick in exchange, that could become a second round pick should Davante perform well.

Aaron and Davante used to play together on the Green Bay Packers before they both departed.

Davante seemed to react to the news on Instagram, sharing a video that seems to suggest he’s happy with the reunion!

The trade came just hours after the Jets’ brutal loss to the Bills on Monday Night Football, where they lost 23-20 and now have a 2-4 record. Many had high hopes for the Jets this season, as this could be arguably their best offense, and defense, in years.

This is the second major move the Jets made recently – and the first was shocking.
