Let’s take a quick trip down memory lane – Ciara style – with a protective hairstyle she seemingly always turns to during monumental events. Welcoming a baby into the world? Post-baby locs it is. After Ciara had her daughter, Sienna, hairstylist Cesar Ramirez styled her hair in lengthy blonde and brown dreadlocks back in 2017. Now, on October 26, the Allure November cover star took to Instagram to thank all who showered her with love and birthday wishes after celebrating another rotation around the sun on October 25.
Two things: First, my jaw actually hit the ground after seeing her side-swept caramel-bronde locs falling along one side of her face. Second is how beautiful her skin looks in her natural, no-makeup (or potentially no-makeup makeup) state. Loc artist Bonita Rebel was the mastermind behind the look and colored Ciara’s dimensional locs with select bleach-blonde strands intertwined throughout the body of her light brown hair. Rebel gave the locs infinite length and curly ends, too.
