Angelina Jolie sparked romance rumors while in Venice, Italy for the 2024 Venice Film Festival. Now, sources are clearing the air.

The 49-year-old actress is attending the film festival to promote her new movie Maria. On Wednesday (August 28), she was photographed on her way to the venue with the British rapper and activist Akala, 40.

Some speculated that they were soft launching a relationship with the outing. Are they Hollywood’s new hot item?

Insiders told TMZ that Angelina and Akala are not dating. In fact, the rapper’s girlfriend Chanelle was with him and Angelina when the photos were taken in Venice. She was reportedly just outside the frame.

Angelina, Akala and Chanelle have reportedly “known each other for years.”

What’s more, the insiders said that Angelina was currently single and is “keeping her focus on her family and her career.”
