“I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I wont be able to perform at ONE MusicFest,” she wrote in a post on Instagram. “It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there. Bardi Gang – thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love yall.”
Cardi did not provide any specifics on the emergency that she suffered. However, we hope that she makes a speedy recovery!
“Thank you guys for understanding,” she added in the accompanying caption. “I will see you soon.”
This is not the first time that Cardi has recently been hospitalized. Back in August, she revealed that she suffered a “freak accident” while pregnant with her third child. Thankfully, everything was alright for both her and the baby, who arrived in September.
If you missed it, Cardi has been exchanging some heated barbs with her estranged husband Offset, who accused her of cheating on him while she was pregnant.
