It’s been a while since we last saw Charlize Theron, and in that time, she’s undergone a stunning new hair transformation. We say new, but it’s actually a return to an old favorite: the platinum-blonde bob.
On February 28, the Mad Max: Fury Road actor unveiled the new ‘do in Paris at the Dior autumn/winter 2023 show, looking timeless and elegant in a maxi fringe dress with a black coat just as long. One of Hollywood’s iconic blondes, in the summer of 2022, Theron made headlines when she unveiled a brand new bitter chocolate shade.
At the time, her dark hair had just grazed her shoulders with piece-y bangs. But ever the chameleon — in the past, she’s sported everything from a buzz cut to a bowl cut, with all manner of choppy bobs and shoulder-length styles in between — she has once again returned to her roots with a soft, chin-grazing bob.
The bob in question was styled simply with a side part and loose waves that added a glorious texture to the chin-grazing length. She paired the choppy hair with simple makeup, black-rimmed eyes, and bronzed cheeks, which let her new hair enjoy all the spotlight.
