Dakota Fanning wears a sleek green dress while arriving for the NYC premiere of her new movie The Watchers held at AMC Lincoln Square Theater on Sunday (June 02) in New York City.
The 30-year-old actress joined several of her co-stars and director/writer Ishana Shyamalan, who makes her feature film debut with the movie.
Also in attendance was producer and Ishana‘s father M Night Shyamalan and the novel’s writer A.M. Shine, plus from the cast – Georgina Campbell, Oliver Finnegan, Olwen Fouéré, Siobhan Hewlett, Alistair Brammer, and Hannah and Emily Dargan.
The upcoming movie, based on the novel of the same name by A.M. Shine, follows Mina (Fanning), a 28-year-old artist, who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night. You can’t see them, but they see everything.
The Watchers is set to hit theaters internationally on June 12th and in North America on June 14th. Check out the trailer here!
