I don’t know about you, but I, for one, am absolutely over summer. Yep, I’ll say it. I’m over days where the temperature is over 80° and everyone is drinking watermelon or cucumber cocktails. I’m tired of sundresses and sandals. I’m ready for cozy knits, sweaterdresses, and outfits with jeans, boots, and coats. I’m craving whiskey cocktails and Sundays at sports bars with my friends to “watch the game” when we really just need a place to wear our chic but casual fall ‘fits and flirt at the same time.
I’m ready for the leaves to change in Central Park and the hustle and bustle of New York City to come back into full swing after summer vacations and trips to the Hamptons. Unfortunately, we’re fresh off a heat wave in the city, but that hasn’t stopped me from eyeing tons of chic fall arrivals for when it finally gets cool enough to wear all the cool-weather outfits I have been planning for weeks now.
