Exciting news for Flea – he’s a dad again!
While attending the premiere of Babylon on Thursday (December 15), the 60-year-old bassist for Red Hot Chili Peppers announced that he and wife Melody Ehsani welcomed their first child together just days before on Monday, December 12.

“I haven’t been doing a lot of sleeping,” Flea joked to E! News, “but I’ve been doing a lot of floating on a cloud of love.”
As of right now, Flea and Melody, 42, haven’t shared any other details about their new bundle of joy.
Just days before the baby’s arrival, Flea told People, “I love being a dad, and I can’t even believe that I’m about to have another baby.”
He added, “I’m just excited about laying down at night with a little baby on my chest and smelling its little breath and feeling its soft little feet.”
This is the first child for Melody and the third for Flea – he also shares daughter Clara, 34, with ex-wife Loesha Zeviar and daughter Sunny, 17, with ex Frankie Rayder.
Flea and Melody married in 2019.
