As far as I’m concerned, the best haircut in the world is a bob. Whether it’s blunt, asymmetric, textured, or a lob, I don’t care because I love them all. Currently, the bob I’m loving most belongs to Gabrielle Union, and I’m admiring its impeccable styling today because her hairstylist added both texture and body with the ultimate blowout.
Union showed off her smoothed-out bob haircut via Instagram Stories on October 19. The actor posted a short clip of her shaking out her hair without a single word uttered — I mean, the bob does speak for itself — as music plays in the background.
Her go-to hairstylist, Larry Sims, who you can see standing behind her, parted her shoulder-grazing hair down the middle. He curled the front-framing pieces of hair away from her face, giving her hair movement. He left most of the bob straight and added a slight bump to the hair at the ends by curling it inward. Between the texture and her light hair flip, it made her hair look a little tousled in the best way possible.
