Gabrielle Union has graced every single red carpet she’s walked wearing hairstyles that keep getting better and better. On Thursday, November 17, she outdid herself by wearing a towering hair sculpture to the U.K. premiere of Disney’s animated film Strange World.
Hairstylist Issac Poleon created the look Union wore to the purple carpet and shared a highlight of the actor on Instagram, describing the look as a “braid flower.” Poleon styled Union’s hair back in a slick bun before creating a halo of intricate circular braids. The loops and twists came together into a structural masterpiece mimicking the shape of a regal crown.
Makeup artist Esther Edeme complimented Union’s artful ensemble with a glowing complexion and subtle color. Edeme gave a breakdown of Union’s makeup on an Instagram post, mentioning that she flushed Union’s cheeks with multiple shades of the Patrick Ta Major Headlines Double Take Creme and Powder Duo and blushed her lips with the Doll Beauty nude lipstick in shade Dolled Out accompanied by a brown lip liner.
