OPI’s GelColor shade Big Apple Red is making its way from one nail kit to another and has become a staple in many of the manicures our favorite celebrities have worn lately. Most recently, the color was spotted as an accent on Hailey Bieber‘s French manicure that she wore to Rhode‘s holiday dinner on Thursday, December 15.
“Prepare to be sick of me! Candy cane glazed nails” she declared on her Instagram story. Well, we are far from sick of Bieber and are now quite in love with her hyper-trendy holiday manicure. Nail artist Zola Ganzorigt drew the thick red French tip to accentuate Bieber’s signature almond-shaped nails. The OPI Chrome Effects No Cleanse Top Coat followed, giving the base of the nails that glistening — ahem, glazed — effect when shot on camera.

Bieber’s fur coat and glossy red lips are channeling Cruella de Vil and also Martha May Whovier from How the Grinch Stole Christmas at the same time. Both characters are holiday muses and Bieber’s subtle red look would make the fictional ladies pleased, for sure.
