Though it’s the incredible vocals and music that launched Paramore singer Hayley Williams to fame, it’s her perpetually bright and edgy hair that’s kept us on the edges of our seats for the past 15 or so years. So it doesn’t come as a shock to any of us emo beauty fanatics that she’s opening a hair salon of her very own. The singer announced that her salon, Fruits Hair Lab, will be opening in Nashville, Tennessee. The news hit our timelines on October 17 by way of Instagram.
Like she did with her hair brand GoodDyeYoung — a collection of cruelty-free hair colors — she’s partnering with her longtime hairstylist and colorist Brian O’Connor, who co-owns the salon. As stated in his caption: “This has been a dream of mine since I was 12 years old and I can’t believe I’m finally able to say this.” Honestly? Same!

For someone who grew up admiring Williams’s signature orange hair in Paramore’s music videos, photo shoots, and live performances, it’s a dream to get the opportunity to emulate her iconic hair cuts and colors straight from the source. Of course, we think traveling to Nashville, Tennessee will be well worth it. And to know the salon has been two years in the making for O’Connor and Williams is just as exciting as it is endearing.
Although they’re both remaining hush-hush about the salon’s official opening, we can’t wait to hear all of the upcoming details (and to book an appointment, naturally.)
