HBO Max is set to raise the cost of their subscription service.
The streaming platform announced this week it’s plans to increase the monthly fee, and it is to take effect in the very near future.
This news comes as parent company Warner Bros Discovery has plans to release a singular merged streaming service, combining both HBO Max and Discovery+, which is set to launch in the summer.

HBO Max announced that the new ad-free monthly subscription cost will increase from $14.99 to $15.99 for existing subscribers, and will be effective on the next billing cycle on or after Saturday, February 11th.
According to the streamer, the increase will “allow us to continue to invest in providing even more culture-defining programming and improving our customer experience for all users.”
