Last month Honor introduced the first three smartphones in its 80 family: the eponymous Honor 80, the top of the line Honor 80 Pro, and the more affordable Honor 80 SE. They will soon be joined by a couple of new models, if the rumorsphere has correct info.
We’re talking about the Honor 80 GT and a flat screen version of the Honor 80 Pro. Both of these have allegedly been certified for sale in China by 3C, and they have the model numbers AGT-AN00 and ANB-AN00. The flat screen Honor 80 Pro is just what it sounds like – all the power of the original phone but with none of the screen curves.
The Honor 80 GT, on the other hand, is said to use the same slightly underclocked iteration of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset as the Pro. It should feature a lower-res FHD+ screen resolution, but a higher 144 Hz refresh rate for that display panel.
According to another unnamed source, Honor is planning to hold a launch event in China on December 26, where these two models will be unveiled alongside the Honor Pad V8 Pro tablet, which reportedly comes with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100 SoC at the helm. This is rumored to be the world’s first IMAX Enhanced tablet, and it should support 33W fast charging and be offered in blue and orange.
