The latest member in the iQOO Z9 series is here with the Z9 Turbo+ which launched in China today. It brings several changes compared to the iQOO Z9 Turbo including a different chipset, larger battery, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and improved ingress protection.
Z9 Turbo+ is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ chipset which replaces the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 from the Z9 Turbo. The new phone also gets a 6,400 mAh silicon-carbon battery which promises “off-the-charts” battery life with up to 16.4 hours of online video playback. The new cell still offers up to 80W wired charging.
You also get IP65 water and dust resistance, up from the IP64 rating on the iQOO Z9 Turbo.
The rest of the specs from the 6.78-inch AMOLED (FHD+ 144Hz) to the cameras – 50MP main cam, 8MP ultrawide, and 16MP selfie shooter are identical between the two Z9 Turbo variants. The new phone also boots OriginOS 4 based on Android 14.
