Lady Gaga‘s song “Bloody Marry” is experiencing a renaissance more than a decade after it was released thanks to the new Netflix series Wednesday.
The series, which centers on Jenna Ortega‘s Wednesday Addams, premiered on the streaming platform last month.
In the aftermath, fans have taken to recreating one of the scenes where Wednesday does some distinctive choreography.
They’re then soundtracking it to “Bloody Mary.” Interestingly, though, the song isn’t even featured in the actual series.

The song that actually plays during the scene is “Goo Goo Muck” by The Cramps.
Despite not making it onto the show, Gaga clearly enjoys seeing how fans are interacting with “Bloody Mary” all these years later. After the Wednesday Addams Twitter account acknowledged the “Bloody Mary” trend, Mother Monster penned a response of her own.
“Slay Wednesday! 💋 You’re welcome at Haus of Gaga anytime (and bring Thing with you, we love paws around here 😉),” she wrote.
Speaking of Thing, you might be wondering how they filmed those scenes.
Did you see that Wednesday broke a major record at Netflix?

I see you doing my dance moves to @LadyGaga’s Bloody Mary. I understand she is followed by little monsters. I approve.
