Jamie Lee Curtis has issued an apology for her comments about Marvel.
The 65-year-old Oscar winner is starring in the upcoming video game movie Borderlands, and attended Comic-Con in promotion of the film. She and the cast were asked trivia questions in a game, and she was asked, “What phase is Marvel in right now?” Marvel releases movies within phases of storytelling and they’re currently in phase 5.
However, when asked “What phase is Marvel in right now?,” Jamie Lee responded, “Bad.” This caused some laughter from her fellow participants.

Now, Jamie Lee has issued an apology.
She shared,”My comments about Marvel were stupid and I will do better. I’ve reached out to Kevin Feige and will no longer play in that mud slinging sandbox of competition we call the internet nor will I engage in the toilet paper promotion or game play that is designed for clicks not content or conversation.”
Jamie Lee is not the first star to shade Marvel…even some former stars have called out the MCU!
