In the texts Majors‘ attorney Priya Chaudhry claims the woman sent, she admits wrongdoing and says she was assured by police that he would not charged.
“They just called to check on me and I reiterated this was not an attack and they do not have my blessing on any charges being placed,” she allegedly texted, per TMZ.
“Just call me when you’re out. I love you,” she also said in a previous text message.
“Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is provably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows,” his attorney originally said in a statement before the texts were released.
The alleged victim reportedly saw another woman texting Majors and tried to take a look at his phone when the incident in question began.
Majors‘ attorney also believes there is also video footage from inside the vehicle that will prove his client is innocent of wrongdoing.
