Katie Holmes surprised us back in September with the sleek side-swept baby bangs she wore to a Tom Ford fashion show. It was a marked departure from literally any hairstyle we’ve seen on the star, and we’re not going to lie; we were really into the edgy baby fringe. It seems like an era of change in the hairstyling department for Holmes because in early March she was spotted in the streets of New York City with her naturally wavy hair texture.
We don’t often get to see Holmes’s tousled waves, so this instance felt like a treat — and trust we are admiring every inch of this textured look. The Dawson’s Creek actor was walking through the New York City streets in a butter-yellow two-piece suit with a white mesh shirt and her waves flowing around her. The ends of her brunette tousled waves cascaded past her collarbones into a medium-length style. Her hair looked like it was left unstyled and loosely swept over one shoulder — the textbook definition of flawless bedhead. Katie, if you’re reading this, please let us know what, if anything, you used to accomplish these gorgeous waves.
