Kevin Bacon has been discussed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe before, but he’s making an official in-person debut in The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special later this month.
The 64-year-old actor had nothing but good things to say about the opportunity during a recent interview.

“Listen, I love to do that kind of stuff. To me, movies are this giant playground. I get to play and a grown man gets to just goof around and have fun,” Kevin told The New York Post. “I take the work very seriously, but in the case of something like Guardians, you have to stop sometimes and go, ‘Oh, s-it, this is really cool!’ I got a really, really fun gig.”
His comments come shortly after director Quentin Tarantino made headlines for speaking critically of the MCU.
