Christmas is no longer complete without Lizzo‘s take on holiday beauty. On December 24, she became the latest celebrity to convert the traditional Christmas candy into a full-blown beauty look. It started with her two-toned candy-cane-colored wig and was followed by the Rudolph-red blush on her nose.
It’s developed into a tradition — Instagram has become her stage as she transforms into a spirited superstar. We’d have to agree with one of the comments her followers left on her Instagram reel, “Thank you Santa for the gift that is Lizzo.” That gift they speak about is Lizzo’s holiday photo shoot in which she flaunts an ombré wig brought to you by hairstylist Shelby Swain, silver eye shadow blended to perfection by makeup artist Alexx Mayo, and stiletto-shaped candy cane nails designed by Eri Ishizu — a look entirely caught on camera by photographer Bonnie Nichoalds.
Her two-toned wig was parted straight down the middle as red dye accented the left side of her hair and a silvery-white hue illuminated the right side evenly. Further down the hair shaft, the colors shifted to their opposing side and ombré’d out from the mid-lengths down.
