Netflix has a huge announcement!
The streamer will be producing 30 new television shows, movies and non-fiction series in Spain throughout the year, they announced during a presentation of their five new soundstages at the European Production Hub north of Madrid, Spain.
And at least one of them comes from Money Heist creators Alex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato.

The duo were on hand for the announcement, which was also the kick-start of Phase 2 of the Production Hub, and they teased details of a second series in development that is separate from the spinoff Berlin, set in a luxury multi-story underground bunker.
Netflix revealed sketches of the luxury bunker at the event, described by the moderator as an “inverted high-rise.”
“The idea comes from the construction of bunkers in and after the pandemic. We imagined a building dug 75 meters down into the earth where we don’t focus on an apocalypse but rather the absurdity of the rich and powerful enclosing themselves like rats,” Alex Pina said.
He went on to describe the series as “highly acid, with a lot of dark humor, a Big Brother with a lot of conflictive relations between families. The big question was: How could life go on at the end of the world?”
