The royal family released a new portrait this week and it’s getting a lot of attention!
King Charles and his wife Camilla, Queen Consort posed alongside Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton ahead of the reception for Heads of State and Official Overseas Guests that took place on September 18 at Buckingham Palace.
The reception was held one night before Queen Elizabeth‘s funeral and was attended by many of the foreign dignitaries who flew to the UK for the solemn event.

The photo is getting attention because of the subtle PDA that is being displayed. Both sets of couples are seen showing some slight displays of affection. While royals are not banned from showing PDA, there’s an unwritten rule that they should keep some distance while performing official duties.
Charles‘ right arm appears to be looped under Camilla‘s left arm in the photo and his hand seems to be resting on her back.
William has his hands clasped together in the photo, but Kate appears to have her right arm on his back.
