The Poco M6 Pro 5G launched in August of 2023, and so it’s high time for a successor to arrive. That will finally happen soon, as the Poco M7 Pro 5G has already received a bunch of different certifications on its way to becoming official.
It was spotted on IMDA in Singapore, SDPPI in Indonesia, as well as the FCC in the US. The phone has the model number 2409FPCC4G, and the “G” at the end there tells us it will get a global launch. The name hasn’t been confirmed by the SDPPI certification (seen in the screenshot below), but there’s no need for that really since the GSMA IMEI database already did that for us.
According to previous rumors, the Poco M7 Pro 5G will be a rebranded Redmi Note 14 5G. Through the aforementioned certifications, we know it will have NFC, LTE, 5G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi on board, as well as a minimum of 128GB of storage.
If it is indeed a clone of the Redmi Note 14 5G, then expect a 6.67-inch 1080×2400 120 Hz OLED screen with 2,100-nit peak brightness, the Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP macro shooter, a 16 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,110 mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging.
