Two Realme phones were certified by China Telecom with seemingly no differences. The V50 and V50s share identical specifications, memory combinations and prices, with the only one difference being the model number.
The two versions, likely the same device designated for different markets within China, are entry-level options with two cameras on the back.
The Realme V50/V50s has a Mediatek 6100+ chipset, which supports 5G connectivity. It also has three RAM options and two storage choices, split in three price categories.
The screen of the duo is a 6.72” LCD with Full HD+ resolution and one punch hole for the 8 MP camera. The dual shooters on the back are said to be 13 MP + 2 MP without clarifying what the auxiliary shooter is for, portraits or macro shots.
Other listed specs include a USB-C port, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a microSD slot for up to 256 GB more storage. Realme is expected to sell the V50 and V50s for CNY1,199 ($170/€155) for the 4/128 GB version, CNY1,499 ($210/€190) for 6/128 GB, or CNY1,799 ($250/€230) for 8/256 GB. We are yet to learn when the phones will be launched in China.
